Many Antivirus software have a feature known as “script blocking”. When any application (or a user) on your PC is trying to run a script from a .BAT or a .REG file, the “script blocking” feature scans the file to check if the script has any malicious code in it. If it detects any malicious code, it immediately blocks the script from executing.
