The cmrcservice stands for Configuration Manager Remote Control Service. “.exe” indicates an executable file in the Windows system. In short, the cmrcservice.exe process is regarded as a vital part of the System Center Configuration Manager.

In simple language, the CmRcService.exe is used for the ‘Configuration Manager Remote Control’. That means if someone trying to access the remote system, then Remote Control software will be required. And this software comes by default with Windows Operating System.
